"With the positive development prospects of the Pharmacy industry, the career opportunities for Pharmacy college graduates are very bright. They will become pharmacists who play a key role in the community health care system," said Mr. Nhut.
Sharing more about the training program, Mr. Nhut said that students studying Pharmacy at the college level will be equipped with in-depth knowledge and skills about drugs, ingredients, effects, and contraindications; how to preserve, supply, and distribute pharmaceutical products; consulting and instructing patients on the safe and effective use of drugs; management and quality control of drugs and pharmaceutical services; and more.
Mr. Pham Minh Nhut commented that with this knowledge and skills, graduates of the College of Pharmacy can fully meet the job requirements at medical facilities, pharmacies, hospitals, health stations, pharmaceutical companies, etc.
In addition, students who choose to study at the College of Pharmacy also have many advantages: they can save more training time than the university system (2.5 years), lower tuition costs, and, after graduation, quickly enter the labor market.
Furthermore, Pharmacy college students still have the opportunity to transfer to university if they want to improve their professional knowledge in the future. This flexibility in career development path empowers students to shape their future according to their aspirations and goals.
Although it is a potential field of study, many students and parents hesitate because they think studying Pharmacy is difficult. It is known that in 2024, Dai Viet Sai Gon College will enroll students by considering transcripts, with 2 methods:
They first considered transcripts based on the average score of three subjects in grade 12. The threshold requires candidates to have an average score of 15.5 points or higher in grade 12 of the three subjects in the combination used for admission.
Second, transcripts should be considered based on the average score of three semesters. The school stipulates that candidates who achieve 6.0 or higher in any semester of grades 10, 11, or 12 will have the opportunity to study at the school. Note that candidates need good academic performance or higher for health majors.
Students who register for early admission can receive a direct tuition discount of 2 million VND. In addition, Dai Viet Sai Gon College also has many policies to reduce tuition fees by 25-50% for new students.
