Comrade Đậu Trọng Bình was born on October 20, 1960, in Quảng Hòa Commune, Quảng Trạch District, Quảng Bình Province. He joined the Communist Party of Vietnam on June 19, 1994, and became an official member on June 19, 1995.

Military Service and Early Career (1978-1993)
From August 1978 to February 1983, Comrade Đậu Trọng Bình enlisted in the army and served at the Armored Officer School in Vĩnh Phúc Province. During this period, through his dedication and enthusiasm, he stood out as an exemplary soldier, strictly adhering to unit regulations and excelling in all assigned tasks.

From 1983 to 1993, he worked as a defense worker at Company 28/1, under the General Department of Logistics, Ministry of Defense. Over 10 years, Comrade Bình showed great responsibility and commitment, achieving significant success in his role.
Leadership Roles and Professional Development (1993-2005)
In 1993, he was promoted to the rank of Captain and served as Deputy Workshop Manager until 1996, when he rose to the rank of Major. From 1996 to 2005, he held the position of Workshop Manager and Party Secretary, demonstrating outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
By April 2005, Comrade Bình was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, assuming the roles of Party Secretary and Head of Administration Department at Company 28/1. His leadership was instrumental in shaping the unit’s progress, fostering a strong political and revolutionary spirit, and promoting patriotic movements within the unit.
Retirement and Continued Contributions to Education (2011-present)
After his retirement in 2011, Comrade Đậu Trọng Bình settled in Gò Vấp District, Ho Chi Minh City. However, his journey of service continued. In September 2013, he joined Saigon Dai Viet College as Head of Equipment Management and later became the Party Secretary during the 2015-2020 term.
In this role, Comrade Bình played a pivotal part in developing the college's educational programs. He actively collaborated with faculty and staff, contributing significantly to the college’s teaching and educational activities. His leadership was a beacon, guiding students and faculty alike in numerous academic conferences and social events, while consistently fulfilling the school’s objectives with excellence.

Since 2022, Comrade Bình has been serving as the Head of the Campus at 172 Thích Quảng Đức Street, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City, further contributing to the expansion and development of Saigon Dai Viet College.
Achievements and Awards
Over a career spanning 30 years, Comrade Đậu Trọng Bình’s efforts have earned him numerous accolades, such as the Victory Medal for Soldiers in 2004, and the Military Flag of Victory Medal in 2012. He also received the Outstanding Party Member Award in 2013, and the Commemorative Medal for Contributions to the Union in 2014.
